This course is suitable for anyone looking to obtain a GCSE Maths qualification. It is free for anyone without a GCSE grade 4/C or above in maths. You will be required to complete an initial assessment prior to enrolment to check whether the course would be suitable.
Prosp Suitable
The course is demanding, and assumes a good level of maths to start the course and it is for this reason all prospective students are required to attend an initial pre-course Maths assessment, which provides an indication of your current maths skills.

On completion you will receive feedback and guidance regarding the most suitable options/course for you. Initial assessment appointment dates are available - please ring 01634 338400 to arrange a suitable booking.

Our tutors have expert knowledge and delivery experience, and are keen to support students who are anxious about their maths skills or exams.

In order to maximise your overall achievement on this course, it is vital that students attend regularly (at least 90% of lessons) and complete all homework assignments. Home study is also essential on this course and you should allow at least 8 hours per week for this. It is very important for potential learners to recognise that achieving a pass grade on this course involves devoting adequate time to work and practise Maths skills outside the class.

When you come along to the first class, please bring a file with paper and a pen, also the textbook and a scientific calculator.
