Course Description
Due to the current and evolving situation with Covid 19, the delivery methods of this course are subject to change. There may be times when the lessons will be held remotely, via live video calls, use of our Moodle area, private social media groups etc. By signing up to the course you are agreeing to this wide range of teaching and learning approaches; the lessons will be held in classrooms where this is usually the case, when it is safe to do so, and may be switched to online as the need arises.

This course is planned to start in a classroom, and with reduced group sizes to allow for distancing.
All learners and carers will need to adhere to the Covid guidelines relevant at the time of this course, including those from the government, council and MAE, relating to the centres, classrooms and resources and materials.

If you have previous experience of meditation Prosp Suitable
You should bring a bottle of water to every session. You should wear clothing that you feel comfortable in with plenty of room for movement. You should not wear any jewellery when exercising and long hair should be tied back. Please keep your tutor informed about any changes to your health (e.g. injuries, illnesses).

If you feel at all unwell during the class then please stop and inform your tutor.
Approximately 15mins of the first session will be used to assess your starting point through an Individual Learning Plan, which will be updated during and at the end of the course, and to complete a health and fitness status form.
We aim to make the learning experience as individual relevant to you as possible and these forms are one method that helps us to do this.

• Some of your guided learning hours will be used to set the group and individual learning targets for the course. You will then have time to revisit these targets with your tutor to assess your progress.

Please note: Learners will not be allowed access to classrooms without a member of staff being present.
